Start with material-specific documentation

Handling begins with the name, form, stated conditions and safety data for the specific material. General rules for “all peptides” can be wrong. The laboratory should record receipt and approve a procedure before the first work is performed.

Environment and contamination

Temperature, humidity, light and repeated excursions can affect materials differently. A clean area, suitable consumables and clear sample separation reduce contamination. Deviations are recorded when they occur and are not hidden in a later summary.

Connecting material and data

Every generated record should connect to the internal sample identifier, procedure, instrument and operator. This traceability concerns internal laboratory work and does not require public display of batch numbers on the website.
